CDT infrared processing is precise, predictable, and an economical alternative to hot air roasting. Compared with traditional hot air roasting, the CDT process can process almonds in 30-70% less time, while meeting pasteurization requirements for medium degree roasted almonds at 130, 140 and 150°C. Almonds roasted with CDT infrared technology also met shelf life requirements, including standards for color and moisture content.
CDT infrared technology is applicable for the processing of almonds, peanuts and cashews, also sunflower kernels.
